EMD (Exact Domain Match) update by Google


The EMD update focuses on ridding the SERPs of spam my or low-quality exact match domains. For example, if a webmaster wanted an easy path to the top of the search results for the keyword “pharmacy Pos” he or she would attempt to register the domain www.pharmacypos.com. According to Matt Cutts through his tweet on September 12, EMD is set to reduce low-quality ‘exact-match’ domains in search results.”

Google penguin what release on 24th April 2012 and its last update was on 5th October 2012. Google Update its Penguin Tool to Control Web spam made by webmasters.
